Echo is for the moment between leaving a meeting and reaching your desk — the shower, the walk, the drive — when an idea forms and you don't want to lose it. Tap once from the Lock Screen, talk, and it's captured, transcribed and searchable by the time you're back.

Privacy by design

Transcription runs entirely on-device using SFSpeechRecognizer with the offline language packs. Audio never leaves your phone. iCloud sync (opt-in) is end-to-end encrypted.

Designed for one hand

Every primary action — record, pause, save, search — is reachable with your thumb. The app is one screen deep on purpose.
